Family & Consumer Sciences/Dietetic M.A.

The Master of Arts in Family & Consumer Sciences is designed to prepare students for advanced studies of individual, family and community issues using an interdisciplinary approach.

Counseling M.S.

The M.S. in Counseling offers three master’s degrees: M.S. in Counseling; M.S. in Counseling with a Concentration in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling; and the M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling. All graduates are eligible to take the National Counselor Examination.

Gerontology M.A.

The applied Masters of Arts in Gerontology program is designed for students preparing for a career in the field of aging or in a related human service field.

Sexuality Studies M.A.

Our graduate program provides an integrative and comprehensive graduate degree for students interested in studying and working with issues related to human sexuality, sexuality education, research and social policy.

Kinesiology M.S.

Students in the M.S. program apply multiple perspectives to problems related to exercise, fitness, motor skills and/or development in the contexts of activities of daily living, play, games, sport and other forms of human physical activity.

Nursing M.S.

The School of nursing provides graduate and post graduate level educational opportunities for registered nurses and individuals with bachelor’s degree in other fields who wish to enter the nursing profession.

Physical Therapy (Joint DPT w/UCSF)

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is designed to prepare scholarly clinicians, educators, collaborative clinical researchers, administrative managers and community leaders.

Public Administration M.P.A.

The M.P.A. program is based on the premise that policy and administration must be understood in relation to each other, and the core of the program seeks to develop knowledge, skills, and understanding in both public policy and public administration.

Public Health M.P.H.

The M.P.H. program in Community Health Education offers an innovative 44-unit curriculum in community health education that promotes social justice and develops culturally and professionally competent leaders in the field of public health.

Recreation, Parks, & Tourism M.S.

Learn the skills needed to be employed in the dynamic multifaceted profession of recreation, parks, and tourism from our faculty who have worked extensively and conducted research in these fields.

Social Work M.S.W.

The M.S.W. program prepares students to become competent human service providers for versatile, creative, and sensitive practice in multiple setting and involving diverse populations.
