Kicking off the new Fall 2017 school year, Graduate Studies held a New Student Orientation in Jack Adams Hall within the Cesar Chavez Student Center on Monday, August 14th, 2017. Welcoming over 300 new graduate students attending SF State! Graduate Studies held an informative presentation on navigating the administrative and academic process that students need to successfully navigate to finish their program in a timely enjoyable manner.
After the presentation, an open fair format greeted the new attending graduate students, where representatives from colleges and various campus services were on hand to meet one on one to rectify problems, address questions and inform students of services and options that they might not have been aware of.
Even the Gator showed up to welcome students and stayed for pictures!
